The KTM 390 Adventure X is a beginner-friendly, all-purpose adventure touring motorcycle designed for both everyday utility and off-road exploration. It still shares the powertrain and chassis with its less expensive predecessor and throws off some luxury features to render the price affordable. It is ideal for riders who are after functional touring hardware available at an affordable price, but the absence of aids to the riders can be a trade-off for others.
The KTM 390 Adventure X boasts the signature KTM ADV styling, characterized by a tall stance, high front fender, and sharp body panels. It comes in bold color schemes that highlight its off-road-ready persona. The LED headlamp, knuckle guards, and rugged metal bash plate reinforce its purpose-built look for both tarmac and trails.
It has a seat height of 825 mm, which might not be comfortable for shorter riders, and this makes visibility and control very good. WP Apex long-travel suspension and off-road-oriented tyres make the bike stable when changing terrains, and the broad handlebar provides greater leverage when off-roading.
