Design

The Himalayan 450 has been designed for utmost stability and comfort in long-distance travel. It has 21-inch front spoked wheels and a 17-inch rear spoked wheel, particularly designed to facilitate off-roading. Showa USD front forks and a monoshock rear suspension system substantially enhance that off-roading capability. The ground clearance of 230 mm and wheelbase of 1,510 mm turn road irregularities into mere bumps.

Braking & Safety

In its bid to achieve maximum protection, the Himalayan 450 from Royal Enfield is fitted with front and rear disc brakes assisted by an anti-lock braking system (ABS). These features provide a stable and secure ride experience both on highways and off-road sections. With a weight of 196 kg, the bike also has a 17-litre fuel tank for a great mileage during long drives. The seat is adjustable in height, standing at a normal height of 825mm for ease of riding by riders of different heights.
