The Meteor 350 is a new-generation cruiser with classic looks, dependability, and modern features, and is a perfect bike for daily rides and long-distance tours. The Meteor 350 is offered at a price range of Rs 2.06 lakh to Rs 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom) and proves to be a great deal on one's money. Comfortable ergonomics, a refined engine, and updated technology make riding on this bike smoother, enjoyable, and safe.
The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has four different variants: Fireball, Stellar, Supernova, and Aurora, each for riders with varying preferences. It has 12 colours, including Fireball Black, Red, Blue, and Matt Green to Stellar Red, Black, Blue, and Supernova Red, Blue. The Aurora variant has Black, Blue, and Green colours, which give it a distinctive retro look.
The Meteor 350 is powered by a single 349cc air-and-oil-cooled cylinder. It develops 20.2 PS of power and 27 Nm of torque, providing a smooth and responsive city and highway cruising experience. The 5-speed transmission guarantees smooth gear shifting, and engine refinement ensures a reduction in vibrations, thereby allowing for comfortable long rides.
A major standout of the Meteor 350 is its fuel efficiency. In actual conditions, it returns approximately 41.88 kmpl in urban driving and 38.77 kmpl on highways. With a 15-litre fuel tank, the rider can look forward to a combined range of around 600 km, which is perfect for touring over long distances.
The Meteor 350 is designed for stability and comfort, with a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheel configuration, with the exception of the Aurora variant, which is fitted with spoked wheels. It has a 100-section front and 140-section rear tyre, providing great road grip. Suspension includes 41mm telescopic forks at front with 130mm travel and twin rear shock absorbers with 6-step preload adjustment, providing a soft and controlled ride.
For safety, it has a 300mm front disc brake and a 270mm rear disc brake, assisted by dual-channel ABS standard. With a wheelbase of 1,400mm and 170mm ground clearance, the Meteor 350 is designed to handle any road surface with confidence. The seat height of 765mm means that riders of any height can ride in comfort, with the 191kg kerb weight providing a firm and stable ride.
Despite its traditional cruiser design, the Meteor 350 incorporates current technologies. It includes a semi-digital instrument cluster, all-LED lighting, and turn-by-turn Tripper Navigation as an option. The USB Type-C charging port and the increased height of the windshield are an added convenience. The Royal Enfield offers a touring seat and a pillion backrest as an accessory for added comfort on the long haul. All this adds to the general comfort, allowing the Meteor 350 to work ideally for a solo rider or a pillion passenger.
Vintage looks, modern engine sophistication, comfortable ergonomics, and new-age features define Royal Enfield Meteor 350, which easily glosses over the distinction between vintage and new. The motorcycle extends a promise of an unforgettable riding experience and a great time as a daily commuter, or an adventure motorcycle.
The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has an average mileage of 41.88 kmpl, according to the Royal Enfield official website.
