The Tata Altroz facelift has been launched in India. The Indian carmaker has priced the premium hatchback at Rs 6.89 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom). The model is offered in 4 broad variants: Smart, Pure, Creative and Accomplished Plus S. It continues to rival the likes of Maruti Baleno and Hyundai i20. Here is a look at what the 2025 Tata Altroz gets.

Revised Price

Variant Price
Smart Rs 6.89 lakh to Rs 7.89 lakh
Pure Rs 7.69 lakh to Rs 8.99 lakh
Creative Rs 8.69 lakh to Rs 9.79 lakh
Accomplished Plus S Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 11.29 lakh

Tata has only revealed the prices of the manual variants as of now.

Redesigned Exterior

The new Tata Altroz features an aggressive design. It gets sharper LED headlights, DRLs and fog lamps. The facelift has done away with chrome elements on the fascia and instead gets a new bumper design.

New additions to the side profile include flush door handles for the front door and turn indicators mounted on the ORVMs. It comes in five colour choices: Dune Glow, Ember Glow, Royal Blue, Pure Grey and Pristine White.

The rear of the 2025 Altroz comes with a connected taillight and a redesigned bumper.

Interior Changes

Along with the exterior, the cabin has also seen visual updates. New additions to the 2025 Tata Altroz include a beige cabin theme, the two-spoke steering wheel and the dashboard layout.

It now gets a 10.25-inch digital driver's display and touch controls for the AC control instead of physical knobs. The rear seats also get a new addition with the presence of two cup holders on the armrest.

Features

As mentioned above, major new features include a 10.25-inch digital driver's display and flush door handles. Other features such as auto AC with rear vents, cruise control, ventilated front seats, a wireless phone charger and a sunroof are carried over from the outgoing model.

The safety suite includes 6 airbags (as standard), a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitor, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child seat anchors.

Same Engines New Transmission

Tata has left the engines of the Tata Altroz untouched in the facelift but added a new 5-speed AMT. It retains all three choices' specifications, which are as follows:

Engine 1.2-litre petrol 1.2-litre Petrol+ CNG 1.5-litre diesel
Power 88PS 73.5 PS 90 PS
Torque 115 Nm 103 NM 200 Nm
Transmission 5-speed MT / 5-speed AMT/ 6-speed DCT 5-speed MT 5-speed MT

The 2025 Tata Altroz now gets a 5-speed AMT along with the 5-speed MT and 6-speed DCT. This move makes the automatic variants more affordable.
