Classic Legends welcomes the GST rationalisation, especially the reduced rate of 18 percent for under-350cc motorcycles, which covers our 293cc and 334cc Jawa and Yezdi performance classics."
The tax revision is expected to affect the commuter and mid-size motorcycle segments, which account for a substantial portion of India’s two-wheeler market. Meanwhile, motorcycles over 350cc will not be impacted and will continue to remain in the 40% GST slab.
