Kia Carens Clavis has been launched in India with prices ranging between Rs 11.50 lakh and Rs 21.50 lakh. It comes in seven broad variants: HTE, HTE (O), HTK, HTK Plus, HTK Plus (O), HTX and HTX Plus. Here is a look at the new Kia Carens Clavis.

The Carens Clavis will be sold alongside its sibling, the Kia Carens, which is now limited to a single broad variant.

Boxy Exterior

The overall silhouette of the Kia Carens Clavis seems inspired by the Kia Syros and, in turn Kia EV9. It gets triangular-shaped three-pod headlights which are flanked by sleek LED DRLs. The presence of a blanked-off grille, chunky air dam and a silver-colour skid plate adds a muscular look to the Carens Clavis.

The side profile features body-coloured door handles, silver-coloured roof rails, window beltline and door cladding along with blacked-out wheel arches. The Kia Carens Clavis is offered in 7 colour choices: Ivory Silver Gloss, Sparkling Silver, Pewter Olive, Glacier White Pearl, Imperial Blue, Gravity Grey and Aurora Black Pearl.

The rear gets a connected taillight setup, a black bumper with a silver-coloured skid plate and a roof-mounted spoiler. A large Kia logo is present in the centre, and a ‘Carens Clavis’ badging is present towards the left.

The Kia Carens Clavis can be had as a 6- or 7-seater. The 6-seater configuration comes with captain seats for the second row along with AC controls. Do note that the 6-seater setup is limited to the top HTX Plus trim.
