Design & Styling

The teaser images of the Kia Clavis end up suggesting a good deal when it comes to portraying a completely upright and rugged, SUV-like stance along with perfect boldness on the road. It has undergone a whole revamp upfront, exhibiting a strong fascia that at once indicates it is not a Carens.

Some of the highlights include the following:

  • A new front with three-pod LED headlights
  • Aggressive LED DRLs that make the car look more modern

  • Connected LED tail lights that add width and a sense of class
  • Stylish alloy wheels that enhance its sporty look

Interior

Kia has focused on technology and comfort inside the Clavis, offering features such as a 10.25-inch dual-screen setup, one for the digital instrument cluster and the other for infotainment. The cabin includes high-end features like:

  • Panoramic sunroof
  • 360-degree camera
  • Ventilated front seats
  • Ambient lighting
  • Six airbags
  • Premium upholstery

ADAS & Safety Upgrades

One of the standard features of the Clavis is its Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), first in this segment. And the safety features include:

  • Automatic Emergency Braking
  • Lane Keeping Assist
  • Blind Spot Monitoring
  • Adaptive Cruise Control

These will be complemented by electronic stability control (ESC), hill assist, and tyre pressure monitoring, making the Clavis one of the safest MPVs in its class.

Engine Options & Powertrains

Under the hood, the Kia Clavis is expected to carry forward the same set of engines as the Carens, ensuring that the Clavis caters to various driving needs from city commutes to long-distance touring.

Engine Type Power Output Torque Transmission

Kia Clavis Launch & Expected Price

The Kia Clavis will be launched on May 8, 2025, and is expected to be priced above the Carens’ range of Rs 10.60 lakh to Rs 19.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
