Kia Syros Introductory Prices End; Prices Hiked By Up To Rs 50,000

Kia Syros, which was launched in India in February 2025, has witnessed price hikes of up to Rs 50,000. With the end of introductory prices, the lower-to-mid variants of the sub-4m SUV have seen an increase, with a maximum hike applicable on the base HTK variant. As such, the price of the Kia Syros after the hike starts from Rs 9.50 lakh, going up to Rs 17.80 lakh. In this report we cover the new price for each variant along with the price difference.
This is the first model to get a price revision after Kia announced their plans to hike the prices of their portfolio by up to 3 percent amid rising input costs among other factors.
Kia Syros New Prices
Petrol Variants
The Kia Syros comes with two engine choices, one of them being a 1.2-litre turbo engine that produces 120 PS and 172 Nm. It comes with either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT). Kia is offering this engine in a total of 8 variants, the new prices of which are as follows:

The base variant of the Kia Syros attracts the highest price hike of Rs 50,000, while the mid-spec variants witness a hike of Rs 30,000. Prices of the higher trims remain unchanged.

Diesel Variants
The other engine option available with the Kia Syros is the 1.5-litre diesel engine that delivers 116 PS and 250 Nm. It is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic torque converter (AT). This engine is offered in five variants, the new prices of which are as follows.

Similar to the petrol variants, only the lower to mid variants are affected by the price hike of Rs 30,000. Top variants did not attract any price hike.
Kia Syros Summary
Kia Syros, which is the latest addition to the sub-4m segment, was launched on our shores on 1st February 2025. It has a boxy silhouette that takes inspiration from one of its stablemates, the EV9. Polarising looks aside, it comes with multiple segment-first features such as ventilated rear seats, a dual 12.3-inch display system, a digital control panel for the automatic climate control, 64-colour ambient lighting and side parking sensors.
Other than that, it also comes with auto headlights, an air purifier, an 8-speaker Harmon Kardon system, a panoramic sunroof, and a wireless phone charger.
In terms of safety, the Kia Syros has been awarded a full 5-star rating by the Bharat NCAP. Its feature suite is loaded with tech such as 6 airbags (as standard), ABS with EBD, front rear and side parking sensors, a 360-degree camera and level 2 ADAS features such as lane keep assist and automatic cruise control.
