India’s largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki, will pass on the GST benefits to its customers. Applicable to its entire portfolio, Maruti S-Presso sees the largest price drop, enough for it to take Alto K10’s spot as the most affordable Maruti car in India. The new starting price of all Maruti cars are as follows:

Maruti Arena Car Price Cuts: GST 2.0

Maruti Suzuki Alto K10

Maruti’s most affordable car, the Alto K10, will see a price drop of up to Rs 1.07 lakh. While a signifcant drop, the K10 will no longer be the most affordable option in the carmakers lineup:

• These prices will be effective from 22nd September 2025.
• Although not the most affordable car, Alto K10 is still one of the best option for cars under 5 lakh.

Maruti Suzuki S-Presso

With the new GST price cuts, Maruti S-Presso will become the companies most affordable offering.

• Although variant-wise information is yet to be revealed, one can expect the top trims to see the highest benefits.
• The above mentioned price will come into effect from 22nd September 2025, making S-Presso the most affordable Maruti car in India.

Maruti Suzuki Celerio

Maruti’s most fuel-efficient CNG car, the Celerio, will see savings of up to Rs 94,100. The new starting price of Celerio is as follows:

• Celerio will now become a solid option for people looking for cars under Rs 5 lakh.
• The new prices will be effective from 22nd September 2025.

Maruti Suzuki Wagon-R

The best-selling car of FY 24-25, Wagon-R, will receive a price cut of up to Rs 79,600. The price list of Wagon-R after GST 2.0 is as follows:

• Maruti Wagon-R’s new starting price of Rs 4.89 lakh will be effective from 22nd September 2025.

Maruti Suzuki Swift

Maruti’s latest hatchback will get price cut of up to Rs 84,600. The new starting price of Maruti Swift is as follows:

• The top CNG trim, ZXi, is expected to witness the highest price cut.
• The new starting price of Swift is same as the old price of Wagon-R, making it a strong competitor in its segment.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire

Maruti’s affordable sedan will see a price drop of up to Rs 87,700. The new price of Dzire is as follows:

• Dzire comes with a petrol and CNG powertrain, both of which attract a cost revision amid GST 2.0.
• The Dzire will come with a new starting price of Rs 6.25 lakh which will be applicable from 22nd September 2025.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza

The Indian carmaker's sub-compact SUV, the Brezza, comes with three powertrain options: petrol, hybrid and CNG. The new starting price of Brezza is as follows:

• The starting price Rs 8.25 lakh of Maruti Brezza will be applicable from 22nd September 2025.

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga

The affordable MPV will get easier on the wallet with GST 2.0 price cuts. The new starting price of Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is as follows:

• The new starting price of Rs 8.80 lakh will be applicable from 22nd September 2025.

Maruti Suzuki Eeco

The commercial industry's favourite, Eeco, will also see a price revision due to GST 2.0. It gets engine options of petrol and petrol+CNG combo. The starting price of Maruti Eeco is as follows;

• The Eeco comes with the highest savings of Rs 68,000.
• The new starting price of Rs 5.18 lakh will be applicable from 22nd September 2025.

Maruti Nexa Car Price Cuts: GST 2.0

Maruti Ignis

The most affordable Nexa offering, Ignis, comes with a single 1.2-litre NA engine with two transmissions. The new starting price of Ignis is as follows:

• The new starting price of Rs 5.35 lakh makes it more affordable than Swift And Dzire.
• The price mentioned above will be applicable from 22nd September 2025.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno

The premium hatchback comes with two engine options and 9 variants, all of which will undergo a downward price revision. The new starting price of Baleno is as follows:

• The new starting price of Baleno is only Rs 20,000 higher than old price of Wagon-R.
• The new price will come into affect from 22nd September 2025.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx

The crossover SUV comes with three powertrain options: a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine, a 1-litre turbo engine paired with a mild hybrid system and a CNG option with the 1.2-litre engine. The new starting price of Fronx is as follows:

• Fronx receives the third highest price cut out of all Maruti cars only behind S-Presso and Brezza.
• The new starting price of Fronx will come into effect from 22nd September 2025.

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara

Maruti’s offering in the highly competitive sub-4m segment, the Grand Vitara, comes in 17 variants, all of which will receive a price-cut. The starting price of Grand Vitara is as follows:

• The new starting price of Grand Vitara will be applicable from 22nd September 2025.
• The sub-4m SUV comes with multiple powertrain options, all of which will get more affordable.

Maruti Suzuki XL6

Maruti XL6 is the premium MPV offered by the carmaker, which comes with petrol and CNG options. The new starting price of XL6 is as follows;

• The starting price of XL6 will be applicable from 22nd September 2025.

Maruti Invicto

The flagship model, Invicto, gets three variants, all of which get a price cut. The new starting price of the Invicto is as follows:

• The new starting price of Invicto will come into effect from 22nd September 2025.

Maruti Jimny

Powered by a 1.5-litre engine, the Jimny is an off-road vehicle which comes in four trims. The new starting price of Jimny is as follows:

• The boxy off-roader, Maruti Suzuki Jimny, will also receive benefits from GST 2.0 which might make it a more lucrative option.
• The new starting price of Jimny will be applicable from 22nd September 2025.

With big price cuts across the lineup, Maruti, which is already a big player due to its affordability, will see a rise in sales across the country. Paired with the upcoming festival season, Maruti, along with other carmakers, will see a big jump in sales.
