The 2025 Renault Kiger has been launched, priced at Rs 6.29 lakh. This is the first major update of the car since its introduction, and it has added multiple new features to both its comfort and safety suites. Although the powertrain remains the same, Renault has given a fresh look to the fascia, along with the cabin receiving some minor changes. Here is a look at everything new in the 2025 Renault Kiger.
New Variants and Price
The Renault Kiger is now offered in four variants with their new names and prices as follows:
| Variant | Starting Price | Transmission |
| Authentic | Rs 6.29 lakh | Manual |
| Evolution | Rs 7.24 lakh | Manual |
| Techno | Rs 7.99 lakh | Manual |
| Emotion | Rs 8.64 lakh / Rs 9.16 lakh | Manual / Automatic |
The starting price of the four variants is for the Naturally Aspirated (N/A) engine and doesn't include the turbo option, which is offered with Techno and Emotion trim. The prices are ex-showroom, pan-India, and bookings are already open across the country.
New Exterior Design
The fascia of the 2025 Kiger has seen some major changes. It gets a new grille, a boxy bumper and a sleek Renault logo. The Kiger looks muscular from the front with these new changes. The airdam is now bordered by a chrome strip, which makes it look more bulky and meshes well with the new design language. The side and the rear of the Kiger remain unchanged except for a new set of dual-tone alloy wheels.
Minor Interior Changes
The cabin of the 2025 Kiger gets new seat upholstery along with a dual-tone theme. Other design aspects remain mostly unchanged.
Feature Updates
Along with the design changes, the feature suite of the Kiger has made the car a decent option in the highly competitive sub-4m SUV segment. Some of the new features include cruise control, auto folding ORVMs, rain-sensing wipers, and auto headlights. The safety suite comes with 6 airbags as standard, ISOFIX child seat anchors, follow me home headlights, TPMS, and a reverse parking camera with sensors.
Powertrain Remains Unchanged
The Kiger comes with two petrol engines, the technical specifications of which are as follows:
| Engine | Power | Torque | Transmission |
| 1-litre N/A | 72 PS | 96 Nm | MT/AMT |
| 1-litre turbo | 100 PS | 160 Nm | MT/CVT |
The Kiger still comes with a retrofitted CNG kit, which is paired with the 1-litre N/A engine. Do note that the petrol CNG combo can only be had with a manual transmission.
Rivals
The 2025 Renault Kiger takes on the likes of Hyundai Exter, Tata Punch, Maruti Brezza, and Nissan Magnite.
