1. Mahindra Bolero
Price- Rs 9.81 lakh to Rs 10.92 lakh
The Mahindra Bolero launched back in 2000 and became an instant hit in India. This 7-seater Mahindra car was based on the Armada Grand, which was discontinued in 2001. The classic SUV has seen three generational updates as of now, with rumours of the fourth one to come by next year. The 7-seater SUV is powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces 76 PS and 210 Nm. This unit is only offered with a manual transmission. It is offered in three broad variants, B4, B6 and B6 (O). Being the most affordable Mahindra 7 seater car, it does lack in the feature department, such as lacking a touchscreen infotainment system, 6 airbags and reverse cameras. It makes it up by offering enough space for a family of 7. The second row is comfortable and does not lack for headroom, but the middle passenger does not get a headrest. The last row comes with seats facing each other, which might not fit two large adults. This row can also be folded to accommodate luggage instead of passengers if required.

2. Mahindra Bolero Neo

The Mahindra Bolero Neo was introduced in 2021 and is a rebadged version of the TUV 300. The Bolero Neo gets a cabin which is more advanced than the Bolero's without sacrificing the appeal that made the Mahindra 7 seater car famous. The Mahindra Bolero Neo comes with a 1.5-litre diesel engine which makes 100 PS and 260 Nm and is paired exclusively with a 5-speed manual transmission. The feature list includes a 9-inch touchscreen, cruise control, reverse parking sensors, manual AC, keyless entry, a 6-speaker sound system and steering-mounted audio control. The second-row seats are more spacious than on the Bolero but still lack a headrest for the middle occupant. The rear seats can easily accommodate children and average-height adults but will be a tight fit for above-average people. Similar to the Bolero, these seats can be folded to increase the boot space.

The Scorpio Classic as it's commonly referred to, comes in two broad variants, Classic S and Classic S11. The Mahindra 7-seater car is powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine that delivers 132 PS and 300 Nm paired with a manual transmission. The Scorpio Classic comes in a 7- and 9-seater configuration, where the 7-seater variant can be had either with jump seats or captain seats. The feature list includes a 9-inch touchscreen which does not support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay but comes with Bluetooth connectivity, auto AC with rear vents, cruise control, two airbags, rear parking sensors and steering-mounted audio control.

In terms of features, it comes with an 8-inch infotainment screen, a sunroof, dual-zone auto AC with rear vents, a 12-speaker Sony sound system, cruise control, 6 airbags, parking sensors and auto headlights.

The 7-seater Mahindra car is the successor of the XUV500, whose second-generation update ended by being the current XUV700. It comes with two engine choices, a 2-litre turbo petrol engine (200 PS/380 Nm) and a 2.2-litre diesel engine (up to 185 PS/up to 450 Nm). Both units are paired with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The feature list includes a 10.25-inch dual-screen setup, a 12-speaker sound system, cruise control, wireless phone connectivity, a 360-degree camera and up to 7 airbags.

In terms of features, it gets auto AC with rear vents, electrically adjustable ORVMs, remote keyless entry, steering-mounted audio controls, a 7-inch infotainment system and 4 speakers.
