Yamaha has announced an extended 10-year total warranty for all its made-in-India models. This package includes a 2-year standard warranty followed by an extended warranty of 8 years. The warranty encompasses the recently launched Yamaha FZ-S Fi and the Aerox 155 Version S, along with pre-existing models. Yamaha 10 Year Warranty Details

The warranty is applicable on all made-in-India models and comes with a total warranty of 10 years (2 standard and 8 extended). Scooters get a mileage coverage of 1,00,000 km ( 24,000 km standard and 75,000 km extended), while the bikes get a slightly higher mileage limit of 1,25,000 km ( 30,000 standard and 95,000 km extended). The warranty covers all engine and electrical components, including the FI system, which is also covered.

According to multiple reports, the extended warranty will be offered at no cost to new Yamaha customers for a limited time, after which a fee will be applicable. The extended warranty is also transferable to a new owner.

Yamaha 10 Year Warranty Eligibility Criteria

New customers of any made-in-India Yamaha models are eligible for the Yamaha 10-year warranty. This includes the newly launched Aero X 155 Version S along with Fascino 125 Fi, FZ-X, FZ-S Fi and other FZ models.
