Yamaha Bikes & Scooters Prices After GST Rate Cut – Save Up to Rs. 18,000

Yamaha Motor has passed on great savings to its customers after the GST 2.0 revision. The tax rate on two-wheelers below 350cc was cut from 28% to 18%, marking a 10% cut. It will be effective from September 22, 2025.
With the GST revision, Yamaha has become more affordable and appealing to buyers. Some popular motorbikes such as the R15, FZ-S, MT series, and popular youth-centric scooters in the Aerox 155 and RayZR have all had their prices reduced by up to 17,000, making them even more compelling.

Itaru Otani, Chairman of Yamaha Motor India Group, said- "We would like to thank the Government of India for the timely reduction in GST on two-wheelers. This step will provide a strong boost to the two-wheeler demand during the festive season. By making two-wheelers more affordable, it will not only benefit customers directly but also stimulate overall consumption and create positive momentum for the industry. At Yamaha, we are pleased to pass on the full benefit of this reduction to our customers across India."
Other models like R3, FZ-S Fi Ver 4.0 DLX, and FZ-S Fi Ver 4.0 are expected to see another price reduction under the revised GST structure. While the new rate prescribes that below 350cc two-wheelers will be subject to 18% GST, the previous rate was 28%. On the other hand, bikes above 350cc will see prices going up under the revised tax policy.
